Daughter Accuses Mother of Favoritism After She Forces Her to Do All Chores Instead of Splitting Them with Her 3 Brothers, Mother Reacts with the Silent Treatment
While it is pretty sad, it is not actually surprising that some people still treat men and women differently, and act like men are the superior gender. What is surprising, is to learn that those who act like that, are other women, who for some reason accept that their role in the world is supposed to be different than that of the opposite gender.
A few weeks ago I had a conversation with a woman who purposely refuses to teach her son to do any of the house chores, because she thinks it is something only women should do around the house. She is actively educating her son to think that his future girlfriend will be the only one to clean, cook, or do the laundry, while he will sit on the couch and watch her work. I was appalled, to say the least, to learn that there are women who not only accept that fate but actually work towards it.
It seems like the mother in this Reddit story is no different. She is passing house chores only to her daughter, while her three sons do nothing. Thankfully, the daughter knows how to stand her ground.
